In a small village called Shujiachuan in northwest China, when the buckwheat flowers were in full bloom, a beekeeper from another province called Li Han came to set up a camp beside the buckwheat field, raising bees and collecting honey. He also wants to meet the local girl who often shovels grass nearby,Celimai. They have a intangible and vague relationship.

 

Li Han has his own hidden feelings, Celimai is also engaged, and a little boy named Susu travels between them, causing frequent waves. It inspires  people to think about the nature of life with mixed emotions.
